I had bought chicken porridge for my lunch from a chicken rice stall, and decided to buy one more for the children’s dinner. This chicken porridge is really YUMMY! It’s got generous chunks of chicken and is made in the Hong Kong style of thick congee which I love.
So the little ones get their dinner in this cute set of bento boxes:
I made quail egg boats floating in the (porridge) ocean. For Z2′s bento, I made her masts out of little slips of Post-It notes with stickers. They also get a whale and fishes made of carrot slices.
For Z1, his masts were picks I bought at Daiso, thought it might seem like little animals having a race in the ocean.
They both had sides of steamed broccoli and cauliflower, and black and purple grapes.

wow!! so cute!!!

Oh this is so cute…love the idea
What wonderful and egg-citing boats you made!
Those boxes are so cute! I see them, and similar, on eBay, and am so very tempted!
They are certainly cute! But the capacity is pretty small so I would only recommend this for packing meals for a child.
Very cute and creative! I give it two thumbs up!
Thanks!
So adorable!!
Thank you!
