The 8 milkmaids are cheese cut-outs on top of pita bread slices, as each child had 2 slices, I filled one with cranberry jam and one with boiled egg slices with homemade thousand island dressing. I’ve included 2 cows made of quail eggs, the cows had nori patches stuck on them.
Sides were sliced strawberries, blackberries and a small floret of steamed broccoli. They had blackberries as there weren’t any good grapes in the supermarket the other day, and they both fed me their blackberries instead. Looks like I really have to go shop for their favourite seedless grapes elsewhere!
