A muffin tin lunch with an Arctic theme.
For Z1′s bento above in the blue muffin tin, we have:
Top Row: Polar Bear Nutella sandwich; yoghurt covered with white chocolate sprinkles (to represent the snow covered frozen ground in the Arctic) and a sun made of an open faced cheese sandwich. The sun represents the issues of global warming faced by the Arctic (and the rest of the world).
Bottom row: Strawberries with a snowflake pick, again to represent the snow in the Arctic; grapes with steamed broccoli (to represent the tree shrub-line in the tundra) and a seal made out of a quail egg.
The words “Arctic” in the center are cut from cheddar cheese, and the walrus is a jam sandwich with cheese tusks.
Z2′s lunch in the red muffin tin below have the same features, rearranged in different cavities.
Read something interesting while reading up on the Arctic, did you know there are NO PENGUINS in the Arctic? Penguins live in Antarctica, not the Arctic.
This lunch is linked up at Muffin Tin Monday.

Oh my goodness, this is so adorable. I love the little walrus and the polar bear. We love Nutella in our house.
Thank you! My kids love Nutella too
